Matt Damon gained weight for “The Informant”

Who cares!!!

Enough about Matt Damon gaining weight for this role.  I really like Matt Damon, the actor.  Please come at this story from a different angle press people!

Matt Damon is a good actor who is very fun to watch.  He is likable.

How sick of talking about the weight gain do you think he is right now?  Would someone please ask him about playing a buffoon.  What are his feelings about what this guy did?  What would he do if he was in the same position as Whitacre?  Make it interesting before this poor guy pukes on the next reporter asking him about his weight gain.

Ellen Joins Idol – Blech!!

Sep 10, 2009 Author: famefetcher | Filed under: Entertainment News

I am a fan of Ellen as a comedienne / talk show host.  However, her shtick, which was probably honed by having to hide herself in the closet for years, might not translate to Idol.  She is a strong personality and I have a hunch that Simon might get fed up with Ellen getting goofy for the sake of Entertainment and make thing about her, not the music and performers.

We’ll see where American Idol goes with this one.  I have to admit, I would fast forward through Paula’s critique of performances, but I liked her being there otherwise.  She brought genuine energy (as whacked out and drugged out as it was).   About the drugs… Paula is/was clearly on prescription meds.  These celebs are so lawyered up.  You don’t make a statement that says I have never taken illegal drugs… without being on prescribed drugs.  Just sayin’.

Good luck Ellen.  Please keep it genuine.  Limit the shtick.  Don’t force the dancing.

"Nip/Tuck" stars seeking hefty pay rises

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – As production begins Monday on the sixth and final season of FX’s “Nip/Tuck,” representatives for the show’s actors are deep in salary renegotiations for their clients.

Talks for stars Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh and regulars Joely Richardson, Kelly Carlson and Roma Maffia have been ongoing for weeks.

Heading into production on Season 5 in summer 2007, McMahon and Walsh saw their compensation upped to about $125,000 an episode, with Richardson close behind at about $100,000.

This year, McMahon and Walsh reportedly are seeking to double their salaries, and the other cast members also are seeking substantial raises.

Because all of the show’s actors are under contract with “Nip/Tuck” producer Warner Bros. TV, talks have been held primarily with FX, which funded last year’s cast paycheck bumps in the form of cash bonuses. A similar arrangement is expected this year, but the sides remain apart on money terms — though an agreement could be reached this week.

To help with negotiations, McMahon and Walsh have added to their legal team seasoned litigator Marty Singer, who represented “The Sopranos” star James Gandolfini in his 2003 renegotiations-related lawsuit against HBO and also represented the supporting “Sopranos” players in their pursuit of paycheck increases for the show’s final episodes.
